Christmas Cove

Christmas Cove

Even Santa Claus is a snowbird this year as he takes a break from the North Pole to visit with children and families in his underground retreat just at the edge of town. Some of the townsfolk have agreed to help him and have dressed up as elves in order to make the jolly men feel at home. Heartwarming professional photos with Santa will be available for children and families during their visit to Christmas Cove.

La Capilla

La Capilla

Lit by luminaries, this trail leads to the Mission at the northeast end of town, which will be decorated for the holiday season in the traditions of Mexico. This redesign of the Mission into a traditional Mexican-style Christmas display includes nochebuena flowers (poinsettias), and a beautiful Christmas tree with period ornaments.

Hayrides

Hayrides

Drawn by a horse, wagons will depart from town and head out into the desert for a star-filled trek to High Chaparral, the Mayor’s house, which will be decorated for the holidays and (after dark) will be the first “electrically-decorated” house in town. Hayride fare is included with the price of admission. Please note wagon capacity is limited so please speak with staff members and consider your timing when visiting this attraction.

Krampus Koal Mine

Krampus Koal Mine

Never willing to let Santa have all the fun, Krampus has taken over the Iron Mine on the western side of town. Families can travel down into the mine to see what Krampus has in store — but those who are naughty had best watch out. This attraction is designed to be a fun, spooky adventure, but is still family-friendly and appropriate for most children. Jump scares and other scary elements present during NIGHTFALL will NOT be included during YULETIDE.

Christmas Fantasy Train

Christmas Fantasy Train

The train will be running throughout the event, bringing citizens and visitors alike through a fantasy of lights and sound as it travels through town and out into the desert. Train fare is included with the price of admission. Please note train capacity is limited so please speak with staff members and consider your timing when visiting this attraction.

Letters to Santa

Letters to Santa

At City Hall, children will have a chance to write a letter for Santa and place it directly into the mailbox in town. Kids will also have the option of crafting a special ornament for the season by buying a wooden ornament and then decorating it as they wish. This heartwarming keepsake can either go home with your family or be placed on the tree in the town square. Please note ornaments are not included with the price of admission and must be purchased separately. Supplies to decorate will be provided with purchase.
